It’s time for another roundup of the best tips and recommendations from beauty and skincare creators that I recently found on Instagram and TikTok.
I’m always fascinated by how many useful advices I can find on both platforms and tips for different skin types and concerns.
As I have a dry and sensitive skin (also prone to acne) I tend to look for tips and product recommendations for these skin types. Being in my 30s makes me also search for advices for smoothing fine lines. In this article you can find lots of posts from IG and TikTok on these topics.
I also included a few makeup posts and great lippies recommendations!
Here are all the posts from Instagram and TikTok that I’d like to feature this week:
1. Athena (@mydaily._.vibes)
If you’re looking for a moisturizer that deeply hydrates the skin without feeling too heavy on it, you need to check this video by Athena.
Have you tried her favorite moisturizer from Summer Fridays?
2.@mytrioskin
This Instagram is run by two friends who share their beauty recommends and skincare tips.
One of my favorite vids from this channel is the one where Anastasia shares her favorite products for acne prone skin.
3. Chrissy (@skincareuwu)
As you may already know I have dry and sensitive skin, therefore when I’m scrolling through Instagram recommendations for this skin type attract my attention the most.
For example I came across this video by Chrissy where she shows the products that she uses in her routines.
4. @li.lilac__
Now something for makeup girlies. This girl is usually posting about skincare products, but this time she shared her review of a super cool primer that basically is like an serum.
It is moisturizing, gives the skin beautiful glow and prepares perfect base for makeup.
5. Joanna (@joanna_blossombeauty)
If you’re planning on starting to use vitamin C in your skincare, you may be hesitating if you should choose L-ascorbic acid or maybe go for vitamin C derivatives.
In this post Joanna talks about her favorite vitamin C serum that actually contains the derivatives, and she explains how it works and differs from the acid.
6. @millenial.jenny.beauty
Do you love using lip sleeping mask as much as I do? My personal favorite is Laneige one but unfortunately it is not cruelty free brand.
If you’d prefer a cruelty free lip mask then you need to check out Genny’s recommendations. In this video she shows lip masks in 3 gorgeous colors. They are super hydrating and packed with nourishing ingredients like rosehip oil, rosemary leaf and vitamin C.
Which one would you choose?
7. @bambi.cola
You know that some moisturizers that really work well under makeup, right? Especially urging winter, when we use thicker creams. Well, Bambi has a solution to that.
In this video she presents a winter routine that prefers her face for the makeup like a beautiful canvas.
8. Shanice (@shaneeyce)
Seeing all those beautiful models and influencers all over social media can have an impact on our self-esteem and even give us some insecurities.
I’m so grateful for girls like Shanice who talk and show about the REAL skin and are not afraid to share how they look without filters. And I totally agree with her message!
Girls remember, all the scars and blemishes are part of you and your story and they don’t make you any less beautiful.
9. @chaniadiary
Using a sunscreen every day is a must have but it’s even more important to use it in the right way!
Using higher SPF filter doesn’t necessarily means better protection, if you forget about re-applying.
Check out Chania’s post about sunscreen myths and her tips!
10. @kfan911
Lots of beauty influencers say that retinol is the best anti-aging solution you get try. But did you know there is a difference between encapsulated retinol and pure retinol percentage in skincare products?
The problem is, brands almost never state both %.
KFan explains these findings in her posts on IG. If you’re into retinol, you should give it a read.
11. Dr. Sasha @sashask1n
Sasha is a physician and aspiring dermatologist as she describes herself.
I love her genuine reviews and skincare videos with dose of humor.
In one of her recent posts she shared her favorite eye serum. It contains hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, green tea, caffeine and retinol which work together to brighten your undereye area and offer gentle lifting effect.
Do you use eye serum, or only eye cream?
I personally love adding special eye serum to my routine for extra hydration.
@sashask1n Replying to @youarebeautie My favorite eye serum at the moment🩷@ondobeauty36.5 I just love hydrating and a bit lifting effect after this eye serum 💙 Not PR, bought myself #eyeproduct #eyeserum #eyecream #koreanskincare #skincare #skincareroutine #retinol #wrinkles #antiaging #greentea ♬ som original – gii
12. Ana Maria (@skinjoyedbyana)
Did you know that having strong skin barrier can reduce the breakouts?
When your skin is dry and its barrier is damaged you may be getting more pimples!
If you’re at this stage right now, check out this video by Ana Maria about serums for strengthening your skin barrier.

This boy is a real skincare junkie and in one of his posts he shared 12-step hand routine!
We usually wash hands many times during the day but often they don’t get the same love as our face! Why not actually?!
If your hands are dry this is your sign to boost your hand care game!

14. Anna (@skincarejunkie109)
I’ve already shared other post from Anna in one of my previous roundup articles.
This time I’d like to feature her video about Ongredients Calming Lotion. It’s a lightweight moisturizer infused with Centella and Peptides so it’s not only soothing but always perfect for mature skin.
According to Anna it’s also suitable for dry skin!
@skincarejunkie109 I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Since I have sensitive and acne-prone skin I am always on the lookout for products that will help calm down my skin, and I was excited to try this one! The texture of this lotion is light and quite cooling on the skin. It’s not a thick cream, so it’s not sticky, but it does a decent job in giving moisture for those with dehydrated skin even in winter days and also helps repair and protect your skin barrier. I use this everyday in my morning routine and it didn’t cause any irritation for me. I would recommend this lotion 100% as it’s suitable for all skin types and I have nothing bad to say about this product. It’s good, simple and effective! 🥰 Key Ingredients: 💛 9-Peptide Complex 💛 Centella Asiatica Extract 💛 NB P-COMPLEX™ ✔️ Skin Irritation Tested ✔️Vegan-certified ✔️Cruelty-free ✔️Fragrance-free @ongredients_global #skincare #kbeauty #sensitiveskin #acneproneskin #gifted #skincareroutine #ongredients #PR ♬ Moshi Moshi (feat. 百足) [Sped up] – Nozomi Kitay & GAL D
15. Kara (@karamell_ht)
This pink-hair beautie posts about skincare, makeup and food.
The post that particularly caught my attention is her video with her morning skincare routine.
Her skin type is dry, sensitive and prone to eczema so it’s interesting to see which products she uses for such a demanding skin!
@createwithkaramell_ht This is a quick look into my morning skincare routine, as a girlie with dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin. 16. @blueyoobin
You know that Korean beauty is all about prevention right? Especially prevention of signs of aging.
And this Seoul-based influencer shows us how to take care of your neck properly and avoid wrinkles with… retinol!
Have you ever tried using this powerful ingredient on your neck?
@blueyoobin why not use RETINOL on your neck too?👇 I think that applying moisturzier and sunscreen to your neck, as well as massaging and strething, is enough to prevent neck wrinkles. But if you want to take more care, try using retinol on your neck, it will help you a lot! @COSRX Official the retinol 0.5 oil #koreanskincare #skincaretips #koreanskincareproducts #koreanskincareroutine #retinolskincare #retinoltips #neckwrinkles #kbeautyskincare ♬ original sound – blueyoobin

18. @deannaskin
According to majority of skincare influencers double cleansing at night is a solution to healthier skin, less breakouts and less blackheads.
And here’s a fun reminder that there are no days off from double cleansing, even when you come back from a party!
Do you always remember about using oil- based cleanser and following with water-based cleanser in your PM routine, even when you’re tired?
@deannaskin A reminder to myself that there is noooo excuse to go to bed without double cleansing🧘🏽♀️ Double cleansing is great for people worh acne-prone skin, as it can help remove excess bactiria from the skin. Its been working so well for me!
